Renfrewshire ADP's Service User Network braved a cold day in May to join the Scottish Recovery Consortium's Recovery Walk. Hunderds of people walked across the Forth Road Bridge to celebrate Recovery and the achievements of people who have beaten addiction. The weather may have been bracing, but seeing so many healthy, happy people in recovery was certainly heart warming.
After the walk over the bridge there was a celebration event, with comedians and musicians adding to the party atmosphere. People shared their inspirational stories of recovery and chatted to others who had been through similar expereinces.
It was a great experience and all the Renfrewshire participants are looking forward to going to the 2014 walk already.
